The client
Hiflow, vehicle transport at European scale
Founded in 2013, Hiflow moves vehicles all across Europe by connecting businesses and private customers with a network of qualified partners. More than 100,000 vehicles delivered every year — an activity that rests as much on commercial demand as on driver availability: two curves that have to be made to meet, continuously.

The challenge
Steering week by week on figures nobody trusted
Hiflow’s business sits on a balance: as many available drivers as there are journeys to make, in the right place at the right time. That balance plays out week by week, sometimes day by day. But as long as the teams doubted the figures, each went back to its own extracts, and the company steered on spreadsheets rather than on a shared reference.
-
Gaps between the BI and the manual extracts, keeping the distrust of the figures alive
-
Delivery capacity impossible to project: availability, qualification and geography all sat in raw data
-
Commercial performance known at the end of the month, too late to correct course
-
Supply and demand hard to match objectively, day to day
The Biron answer
From a figure that is argued over to a figure that decides
Biron settled the question of trust first, then built the steering instruments on top: a real-time reading of commercial activity, and a projection of the delivery capacity available.
-
A source of truth established
Row-by-row reconciliation between the BI and the business extracts, down to explaining every single gap, to make the BI the company’s one reference.
-
Real-time commercial steering
Revenue and journeys per rep, configurable targets and an end-of-month projection refreshed continuously, distinguishing new customers from established ones.
-
Delivery capacity projected
Driver availability modelled by qualification and by département, as an estimated allocation, over a rolling seven days.
How it went
- Structuring the activity, journey and delivery sources into one shared reference
- Reconciling the BI against the manual extracts and explaining every single gap
- Rolling out the commercial steering: targets, run rate, customer segmentation
- Modelling driver occupancy (person-days, calendar, status, availability weightings)
- Publishing a seven-day view of capacity by qualification and by département
The results
A company deciding on its own figures
The BI has become Hiflow’s source of truth: no more unexplained gaps against the manual extracts. The teams correct their trajectory before the month ends rather than after.

The BI has become the source of truth: no more unexplained gaps against the manual extracts
-
The trajectory visible from the start of the month: the commercial teams correct before it ends, not after
-
Delivery capacity visible seven days ahead, by qualification and by département
-
Raw operational data turned into decisions: schedules, statuses and calendars become one single indicator
-
A daily tool for the commercial and logistics teams
“Biron gives us day-to-day visibility on the company’s key performance metrics: revenue, volume, quality, the match between supply and demand. What really sets Biron apart is having a qualified team on hand to keep our BI evolving.”
